I am an indie author and burnt myself out rather quickly trying to market my debut. I thought that my niche was too niche, and bought a ton of templates and author guides hoping for the magical formula to make it all come together, but none of them worked for more than a week or two. Lindsay's Espresso Shot guide completely reframed the way I look at my content by not only giving me permission to be myself, but also offered a roadmap to share meaningful content without burning myself out.
The guide talks to you in a fun and engaging way, and I filled up my notebook with PAGES of ideas, aha's, hooks, captions- you name it, its in the guide. Lindsay touches on every aspect of social media from posts to stories to doom scrolling. As an unintended bonus, the program ended up being a surprisingly cathartic therapy session to really figure out what makes me tick, and what experience my books offer to people. Once I walked through her guided questions to find it, it was a major AHA moment for me and has unlocked what I've struggled to find before with surface level hooks and niche talks.
This guide is perfect for creative people who perhaps aren't neurotypical, have tried a million things and none ever felt like they fit, and need boundaries, prompts, and guardrails to make it all come together. A notebook is highly recommended for this guide to get the most out of it (go get the pretty one!) - and some time to really think about who and what you are. Social media doesn't have to be soulless, and this guide helped me to find a clear way to be myself, find my people, and get more eyes on my books without wanting to pull my hair out. Thanks Lindsay!
